Compatibility

    Can I play the game without an internet connection?

    Yes totally! If you are not connected to the internet, the game will simply use local leader boards instead to submit your high scores.

    Will the game run on my iPad?

    Yes! the game is now running perfectly on the iPad using HD resolution. Make sure to update to the latest version (free).

    I have the new OS4 installed on my iPhone or iPod, will it be compatible with the game?

    Yes! The game is OS 4.0 ready and is also compatible with all versions after 3.0.

    I have a 1st generation iPhone or iPod Touch - will I be able to play the game?

    The game is compatible with the first generation of devices which are using older hardware. However, you may experience slow-downs from time to time.
General

    I am having problems unlocking game content. I made more points than required to finish first but no cars or tracks are unlocking. Is this normal?

    This is a problem that rarely happens and is related to the update process. In some rare cases, it keeps a "cache" of the older version settings in your device which conflicts with the new version of the game. An easy way to fix this is simply by deleting the game from both iTunes and your device, then downloading a fresh copy from the AppStore. Make sure to use the same iTunes account; it will not charge you again since you already purchased it in the past.

    The game appear to "lag" once in a while, is there anything I can do to make it run faster?

    Yes, we always recommend disabling the "Push Notification" and "Bluetooth" while playing games. On your iPod or iPhone go under Settings / Notifications and switch it to Off. For the bluetooth go under Settings / General and turn it off.

    How come I cannot adjust the music volume when listening to my own songs?

    You need to adjust the volume from your iPhone or iPod buttons when using your own music library since it’s playing external files.

    It’s hard to play the game on my iPhone or iPod, I barely see anything and the screen is dark.

    Try increasing the brightness. On your iPod or iPhone, go to “Settings” then “Brightness”. You will now be able to raise the brightness level which should help.

    The game suddenly exists by itself while playing, what do I do?

    This is normally due to high memory use. You may other Apps (process) running in the background. We recommend closing them before playing the game. If you don’t see any improvement, we recommend rebooting your device in order to free up memory. You can reboot your device by pressing and holding both the menu and power button.

    I think I have found a problem with the game, what should I do?

    We have a team devoted to building quality games. In order to improve our products, it’s important to notify us of any issues you may be experiencing. Our game development team will make sure to address this issue and it will be fixed as part of the next update.

    Will the game be maintained or updated on a regular basis?

    Definitely, we will be maintaining and regularly updating the game. Updates will include fixes for unveiling issues and also extra game content.
Gameplay

    How can I keep my car on the road?

    Like real drifting, you have to keep a balance between speed, timing and using the proper drift techniques in order to remain in control. Practice makes perfect!

    How can I unlock more cars or additional circuits?

    Simply finish in the Top 3 positions (gold, silver, bronze) to unlock new in-game items.

    I unlocked everything, but I changed the difficulty level and everything is locked again, is it normal?

    Yes, the unlock system is independent for each level of difficulty.

    How do I exit from practice mode?

    Press the pause button near the timer in the top center. The option menu will appear, simply press “Main Menu” to return to the home page.

    I submitted my name and score to the leader board, but when looking at through the high scores, I cannot find it... what happened?

    Only the Top 15 positions by category are shown in the game. You can visit the leader boards section of the website to view the Top 100 positions. If your name doesn’t appear, it simply means that your score wasn’t high enough to make it in the Top positions.
Miscellaneous

    How come I can`t view any videos from the website?

    The website videos require the current “Flash player”. You will need to install it by visiting the Adobe Flash Player website in order to watch them. You may need to restart your web browser after the installation.

    I have a question that is not covered by this FAQ page. What can I do?
